Key Features & Clinical Benefits
Stiletto has been designed to address common challenges in inpatient vascular access and to support improved outcomes for both clinicians and patients.
Its unique combination of features aims to optimize catheter performance, streamline insertion, and reinforce safety throughout the procedure.
- Optimized Catheter Performance
- Soft yet durable catheter engineered for biocompatibility and intended to support extended dwell times.
- Reinforced tip to reduce collapse risk during aspiration and help maintain consistent performance. - Enhanced Insertion Control
- SlipStream™ technology enables reliable threading without the need for a guidewire, even through tortuous anatomy.
- Smaller needle relative to catheter diameter, helping create a tighter seal between the vein and catheter and potentially reducing patient dis comfort during insertion.
- Echogenic needle tip designed for clear ultrasound visibility and improved guidance. - Designed for Safe, Confident Use
- Notched needle design with striped catheter supports flashback visualization upon successful venous access.
- Passive safety mechanism automatically shields the needle tip after deployment to help reduce sharps‑related risk.
